Data Solution Architect
TenneT has the strategy to advance the use of data and analytics to the benefit of internal operations and to society by facilitating the energy transition. This is realized by development of the TenneT Data Platform (TDP). On TDP an extensive portfolio of innovative use cases is being developed. For instance; forecasting the infeed of renewable energy sources and predictive maintenance of the electricity grid.
To support the implementation of these innovative use cases on TDP dedicated DevOps teams are formed. Apart from realizing use cases, the team is also involved in extending and maintaining the platform and big-data capabilities.
What do you do as a Data Solution Architect?
As a Data Solution Architect you will together with Domain Architects design solutions for the TDP within the given domain architecture and translate these solutions to the DevOps teams. You are able to actively involve our stakeholders while design solutions and are capable of communicating the solutions. You are able to share your knowledges with your colleagues. We are committed to following an agile way of working, with sprints and demos every two weeks, aiming for frequent releases of working software. We cooperate with internal and external experts from different knowledge domains to discover and build the best solutions possible.
Responsibilities
• You are responsible for the solution architecture in an open source big data environment.
• You are involved in the implementation of the OTAP and development of necessary building blocks.
• You play a role in advising the domain architect
• You are the single point of contact for Data engineers, Software architects, maintenance and project employees.
Candidate profile:
What do we expect from you?
- You have a completed Bachelor or Master degree from a technical IT faculty;
- You have 5 years of experience with data solution architecture in a big data environment.
- You can oversee complex environments and situations.
- You have good communication & presentation skills and you are organizational sensitive .
- You have a creative and solution oriented attitude. You are stress resistent and you can take colleagues along with this behaviour.
- You have knowledge and experience with architecture frameworks like TOGAF, DYA etc.
- Bij preference you have knowledge of agile architecting and have experience with collaborating in a agile environment.
- You have knowledge of Archimate modellanguage
- You have knowlegde of data security and data governance
- You have knowledge of Datamanagement and de frameworks that come with this, like DaMa or CoBIT
- You have knowledge of Sparx Enterprise Architect tooling
